Gymnastics Head Coach & Program Manager

Job Summary

Sartell Sapphire Gymnastics is looking for an energetic, organized, and communicative person to lead our organization.  This individual will be responsible for coaching all levels of teams from junior-level to competition-level, managing all day-to-day operations, and providing excellent customer service and communicating with families as needed.

30-40 hours/week (variable per season)

Part Time Gymnastics Coach

Coach a variety of gymnastics teams in a positive, safe, educational and fun environment.

Working knowledge and/or experience in at least one of the following areas: (preferred, but not mandatory)
Gymnastics, Tumbling, Cheerleading or Dance. 
Willingness to learn additional areas of gymnastics. Demonstrated ability to teach the development of skills and proper technique.  Passion for working with children of all ages and abilities.

Ability to lift equipment and to spot children.

Ability to motivate and effectively communicate with members, parents and students. Exercises mature judgment and sound decision-making.

Requires current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Principle Job Activities

Instructs class lessons as assigned in accordance with MAGA guidelines.
Assists with preparation of lesson plans and routines for classes.
Develops positive relationships with participants and provides motivational support and guidance
Follows all Sapphire emergency and safety procedures. Completes incident and accident reports as necessary.
Organizes and puts away needed class equipment. Reports damaged equipment.
Upholds all Sapphire policies, procedures, standards and code of conduct.
Fulfills the mission of Sapphire Gymnastics
