Part Time Gymnastics Coach and Substitute Coaches

Coach a variety of gymnastics teams in a positive, safe, educational and fun environment.

  • Qualifications
    Working knowledge and/or experience in at least one of the following areas (preferred, but not mandatory): Gymnastics, Tumbling, Cheerleading, or Dance. 
  • Willingness to learn additional areas of gymnastics.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach the development of skills and proper technique. 
  • Passion for working with children of all ages and abilities.
  • Ability to lift equipment and to spot children.
  • Ability to motivate and effectively communicate with members, parents and students.
  • Exercises mature judgment and sound decision-making.
  • Requires current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.

Principle Job Activities

  • Instructs class lessons as assigned in accordance with MAGA guidelines.
  • Assists with preparation of lesson plans and routines for classes.
  • Develops positive relationships with participants and provides motivational support and guidance.
  • Follows all Sapphire emergency and safety procedures. 
  • Completes incident and accident reports as necessary.
  • Organizes and puts away needed class equipment. Reports damaged equipment.
  • Upholds all Sapphire policies, procedures, standards and code of conduct.
  • Fulfills the mission of Sapphire Gymnastics
